Student Media brings home NC College Media Association Awards

NC State Student Media outlets brought home multiple awards from the 2026 North Carolina College Media Association conference. 


The annual conference features workshops for student journalists to learn specialty skills and highlights their work from the past year. Elon University hosted this year’s conference on Feb. 28. 


The print outlets of Student Media – Agromeck, The Nubian Message, Roundabout, Technician and Windhover – brought home 39 awards in total and five best-in-show publication awards.


This continues Student Media’s recognition of excellence in student journalism. The outlets were recognized on a national level at the 2025 ACP/CMA National Convention in Washington, DC in October 2025.
